Fusible web and fusible tape holds fabric together without sewing. This can be useful if you don't want to sew. Say for example you want to hem pants, but don't want to sew the hem. Use fusible tape. Apply one side of the fusible tape to your pants with an iron, peel off the release paper backing then iron again so the fabric adheres together. Fusible web and fusible tape can also be useful if you just want to hold applique's on your quilt until you have time to stitch around them. Fusible web and fusible tape basically bonds fabric together without stitching.
